NOTE: Many thanks to Latin America TV DX Expert Christopher S. Dunne for providing updated Cuba TV information in May, 2011.

Acknowledgements for past contributions of updates: Christopher S. Dunne and Jeff Kruszka for photographs and information. Jesus Perez (and associates) for photographing Cuba TV IDs and providing information about Cuba TV. Mike Bugaj and the Worldwide TV-FM DX Association for allowing me to use those photographs.

The national networks are relayed throughout Cuba on various channels. Local programming airs on some Tele Rebelde relayers during the early evening hours on weekdays, prior to the beginning of Rebelde programming. Each local station uses a name.

CHRISTOPHER'S LOW-BAND E-SKIP TARGET TIPS
Tele Rebelde* ch 2 La Habana

Cubavision (24 hours a day)* ch 6 La Habana

Canal Educativo*, channel 4 La Habana

Tele Rebelde's programming covers almost all the Cuban baseball games and almost all
sports---Canal Educativo Dos carried a ballgame when TR had another one at the same
time. Also general entertainment. Many local/regional channels use the Tele Rebelde
channel between 4:30 and 6 pm weekdays EST. This includes Canal Habana
programming on ch 2 La Habana. (The "CHTV" name no longer exists, to my knowledge.)

Cubavision = general entertainment, and the Mesa Redonda (Round Table) program in
the early evening. It also runs parallel with Canal Educativo late mornings for
educational shows. Cubavision from 12:15pm to 1pm EST airs "Al Mediodia",
which is a variety program which shows what is coming up on all the national
channels (with possible exception of Multivision) later in the day.

Canal Educativo = entertainment/educational, //Cubavision at the time above. It
also airs Mesa Redonda, and repeats it as well late nights.

Canal Habana = serving the La Habana area only. Many music-oriented shows & some
imported shows. Mesa Redonda also.

[The following site gives a weekly schedule for all networks, except Canal Habana---

http://www.tvcubana.icrt.cu/cartelera/ (Editor's note: see clickable link above.)

At this time, it is under construction.]

The "N" news logo is no longer. The photo with the weather shows the current one.

The channels that each network uses can be found in my WTFDA Forums post here

If you see one of these colored diamonds lower right (or elsewhere), it is not a logo. Diamond shaped images of various colors, similar to these, are used by Cuba TV networks to cover logos of other networks.

A TV screen-in-a-screen is sometimes used by Cuba TV networks to cover logos of other networks (located lower right in this photo).

CHRISTOPHER'S HIGH-BAND AND UHF TROPO TARGET TIPS
Canal Educativo 2 = similar to Canal Educativo, but seemingly
more entertainment-oriented.

Multivision = kid-oriented fare late afternoons, drawing mostly
from the Disney networks in the USA, but also Discovery Kids and
even British networks. (I have not seen a Cuban-made program on
Multivision as yet.....all imports as far as I know.) Multivision
is the only network that has a constant logo bug on screen, "mV".

Canal Habana = serving the La Habana area only. Many
music-oriented shows & some imported shows. Mesa Redonda also.
